Silky Pocketboy 170

Regular price €37,99

This is THE go to outdoor saw. We’ve tested it against the famous Bahco Laplander but found the Silky pocketboy 170 to be faster and more comfortable to use. The size is ideal for on your belt or in your backpack. An item that cannot be missed in any bugout bag. But as the name says! It’s even small enough for in your pocket!

The extraordinary cutting capacity of the Pocketboy has given this saw the nickname “Little Giant”.

The Pocketboy is lightweight and perfectly balanced. Sawing is exceptionally smooth with this saw and you are able to work in the most densely grown spaces. Pruning was never as much fun before as it is now!

In case you are not used to sawing with a Silky pull saw, be aware of the razor sharp teeth that rapidly work through the wood. Even after frequent use, the teeth remain sharp for a very long time, so that time and time again a smooth tree cut will be left behind that the tree recovers well and quickly from.

When not using the Pocketboy, the blade folds easily with the locking mechanism. The sharp teeth are safely covered as they are completely concealed in the handle. When the saw is needed, it can simply be unfolded thanks to the notch in the blade, even when wearing gloves. The blade securely locks in two different positions with the locking mechanism.

The rubber handle absorbs vibrations and offers a perfect grip. The Pocketboy feels comfortable in the hand, even after prolonged use. The hole in the handle offers the possibility of attaching a rope or carabiner to the saw.
